Top 5 Tuesday || Top 5 Bookish Maps

Top 5 Tuesday

It’s the last T5T for the month, and Shanah @ Bionic Bookworm has set an awesome theme! Today, we’re looking at MAPS.

Rosemarked Map

Rosemarked by Livia Blackburne

Look, I have such a soft spot for watercolor, and this map is SO PRETTY. It’s soft and beautiful and lovely and GOSH. Definitely a favorite map for me.

Truly Devious Map

Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson

This awesome full image of the Truly Devious map comes from Maureen Johnson’s Tumblr, and I LOVE IT. There’s something unusual and charming about it that makes me really happy, and Maureen says that apparently there are CLUES hidden in it. I’m not sure what they are, but I’m definitely trying to figure it out anyway.

Truthwitch Map.jpg

Truthwitch by Susan Dennard

I feel like I always end up listing Truthwitch in a post at least a couple times a month, but I can’t help it. Look at this map! I love this map! And the series, but especially the map! Since there’s a fair bit of travel in the series, it’s a great way to visualize everyone’s progress around the continent.

I just wish maps like this came in color more often. I would adore that.

Labyrinth Lost Map

Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Córdova

This was another map I really liked, especially with the warnings on the left side. It’s also a great way to get extra visuals for the journey over the course of the book (which is a really good book, by the way).

Inheritance Map.jpg

Inheritance by Christopher Paolini

The Inheritance Cycle was one of my favorite series in late middle school/early high school, and I have a lot of nostalgia for the series, especially this map. Plus, it’s in such a pretty, soothing shade of green. I’m always going to love this one, I think.

What are some of your favorite bookish maps? Which books do you think DESERVE maps?

  1. Ohhhhh I actually have Rosemarked on my bookshelf, and that maps IS gorgeous! I just find this book really pretty overall, including the cover art. 😉

      1. Have you read the second book then by any chance? I liked the first book a lot, but it’s been so long that I’m wondering whether I should continue the series or not. 🙂

          1. I just requested it today on Edelweiss. 😁 But yeah, there are no physical ARCs this time around, but there WAS a giveaway for the one manuscript in existence. 😉 I really hope to enjoy the sequel if I get approved!
