Weekly Wrap

As I write this, the winter storm is moving in and I am but a wee, frozen Midwesterner who has never developed any tolerance for the cold.

Send help. Or blankets. Or hot chocolate.

Life Beyond the Blog

Inclement weather aside, it’s been a halfway decent week! I love the classes I’m in (my senior seminar is taught by my favorite professor in my department and I’m OVER THE MOON about it), and I’m actually really eager about the research ahead. There’s even a chance I could write my senior thesis on The Good Place and OH MAN, it is beyond tempting!

On the flipside, though, it’s so cold.

SO COLD.

I feel like a lizard put on ice. I’ll never be warm again. The sun will never shine again. THERE IS NO WARMTH OR JOY OR DETERMINATION, ONLY SNOW AND ICE AND MY OWN PERSONAL MELODRAMA ABOUT IT.

The Week Ahead

It’s probably going to be a slow week in the near future. I have some academic and personal deadlines I need to buckle down on, and I’m also trying to start my final semester of school as strongly as I can. We’ll see how that actually pans out, but I need to try.

That said, I’m also going to attempt a little bit more blog hopping and wandering this week, since I won’t be writing as much. I can spare five minutes here and there to read and comment on blog posts, and I’m going to attempt to hold myself to it.

Aaaand hopefully after that, all will be pretty normal again, with more than just a post or two in the week. I really do enjoy posting a lot, after all. It’s rare that I don’t.

I’ll see you around, and I hope your week has been good to you!
