So long, spring break. You were a true friend, even if I barely got anything done. π’
Life Beyond the Blog
Technically, I did do something: I got my hair cut. Wooo! But also I did nothing because it’s beginning to warm up a little, and that means my seasonal allergies are starting to sneak in the back door so they can bash me over the head with a baseball bat. I’ve felt so sluggish this week, and it makes perfect sense with the changing of the seasons creeping up on us. And with the whole spring forward thing with Daylight Savings Time. No, I don’t want to spring forward, I want that hour of sleep back, thank you.
On the flipside, sure, let’s banish winter, I’m okay with that.
But other than that, I’ve done little except draft a couple letters for important things and then curl up in bed playing video games bec
ause my brain doesn’t want to make words go for reading or writing. It’s a slow week when I meant it to be productive, and I’m kicking myself just a little bit, to be perfectly honest.

The Week Ahead
For one, I’m going to try and hype up my Bloodwitch giveaway as much as possible! Feels like it would be embarrassing if it only got a few RTs (so if you’re feeling inclined, I’d love it if you entered/boosted it by retweeting this tweet β€οΈ). But beyond that, next week, I have to have my topic for my senior thesis set in stone (yes, I’m scared, no, I have no idea what I’m doing, yes, it’ll be fine eventually), and the Near Witch tour is this coming week! I can’t believe I finally get to meet VE Schwab and have her sign some of my books and I’m just made of heart emojis right now tbh. So many heart emojis. π
I’m also going to attempt (key word:Β attempt) to read three books this week in a last-ditch effort to catch up with my TBR. Wish me luck, because that monstrosity isn’t getting any shorter.
Anyway, I’ll see you around! I hope you’ve had an excellent week, and that the week ahead treats you right.
