Weekly Wrap

The pace is picking up at last! I guess all I had to do was ask?

Life Beyond the Blog

The biggest most important thing is that job hunting is on the move again! I’m starting to get responses to my applications, which is a good sign. It’s helped me break away from that feeling that everything is far too stagnant, and it gives me hope for my wallet and student loans and the like. Fingers crossed I make some money, huh?

I also discovered this week that Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon Every Buddy, cutesy as the title sounds, is a remake of Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon for the Wii from 2007, now with new features for all your dungeon-crawling needs. Lemme tell you, nothing shocked me quite as much as starting the game and going “OH MY GOD I KNOW THIS,” because it sent me waaaaaaay down memory lane to when I used to play it with a friend. She owned the game, so I only got a tiny portion into the game when I went to her house, or that one time she lent the game disc to me. Good times…but the Switch version is even better than I remember it being, so I’ll probably write up a post once I beat the game (or come close to the final boss, given how I sometimes drop games right before the boss because I don’t want it to end, oops).

OH OH OH, also, BookOutlet’s summer sale is a true danger to my wallet, so, uh…expect a fun book haul in my stories in something like 3-10 business days? My wallet weeps, but it’s so worth it. This is what gifts of grad money are for, right?

The Week Ahead

Looks like it’s cloudy with a chance of PANIC in the week ahead as I attempt to read my way back to being on track with my reading goals for the month. My slow slump over the last week and some has left me really behind, and I’m determined to get back on track. Plus, I need to make sure I’m all ready to go for job interviews! Very important, that is.

I also realize that I haven’t set any goals for Camp NaNo yet, and I’m not entirely sure if I will? Mostly because I have something in mind, but it’s more of a private project, one I’m not ready to share on the blog. I might still tweet about my word count progress, but next month, I think I’ll refrain from actually sharing anything specific.

Maybe I’ll do Camp NaNo 2 Electric Boogaloo in August? With actual sharing? Who knows! We’ll just have to find out.

Anyway, that’s it for my week. I hope your week is going just as well, if not better, and I’ll see you around!
