Weekly Wrap

We’ve made it to the end of another week, and into the first days of fall! Sweater weather may not be here in full force yet, but it’s coming, and just knowing that has made my week a whole lot better…

Life Beyond the Blog

Surprisingly little has happened this week, actually. Besides fall rolling in with some breezier, slightly cooler weather (I’m still waiting on proper sweater weather, though), life’s been…still. I’ve been eyeballing some book tours that are stopping near me for once, and I’ve been making slow but steady tracks on preparing The Words Gremlin for the big move/makeover, but nothing really exciting has happened save for the TAZ: Amnesty finale (more on that next month, to give time for folks to catch up and process before I talk about it!) and the wheels in my brain just spinning at a constant low speed.

Granted, maybe you can call another bunny health issue exciting, but I’m trying to put that out of mind. We see the vet on Monday, and there’s nothing I can do until then, so it’s best not to think about it.

Seriously, though, I’ve just been reading, crafting, watching TV, playing video games, and working. Nothing special so much as a constant stream of stimulation (because I can’t allow my brain to be idle unless I want to feel absolutely terrible), but the usual.

I guess we all need plain weeks, right?

The Week Ahead

Next week is the start of October, which means the start of NaNoWriMo prep! I have plans (which involve monsters, motorcycles, beekeeping, bisexuality, and definitely some kissing), but it’s time to start putting them in a proper order, so I’m not floundering for plot and direction by the time November rolls around.

Next week is also for working on more of those booksleeves I mentioned last month! I aim to have a halfway decent stock available before I open shop, and I’ve discovered that crafting while watching murder mystery shows is deeply relaxing. Anxiety gremlins zilch, me one!

Other than that, it’s work as usual, trudging on toward the end of the year. So be it, I suppose.

That’s it for this week, and here’s hoping fall sets in with full force soon! See you around!
