This week, we’re doing things a little different, and cramming two weeks’ worth of wraps into one! It’s not going to be the new norm, but bear with me on this occasion.
Life Beyond the Blog
Truthfully, the reason we’re doing a double wrap is because depression sucks. And it’s jarring to even name it, because a few weeks ago, I was pretty well convinced that it was just a rough spot, no big deal. But when the doc categorizes your visit as one for a “major depressive episode,” then it’s time to maybe rethink things.
So now I know: it wasn’t laziness or a busy week that delayed last week’s wrap. It was my brain and it was a depressive episode. Oof.
Good news is, I’m feeling better for this week (hopefully we can make that last a while), and I’m working on some new steps so that this happens less often. I’ve also got things to look forward to, like the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon DX release in three weeks, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons in five.
I also get to look at one of my bunnies wearing tiny t-shirts this week! He has an injury that needs to heal, and since his partner bun is an aggressive groomer, the solution is to keep her away from the injury via t-shirt. You bet I’ll be posting pictures on Twitter, because it’s gonna be so cute. Mostly because the bun in question is going to be completely baffled by his new shirts!
Other than that, not much is new. Anything exciting is bound to come in the future, and I’m just going to set the last couple weeks aside and attempt to start fresh.

The Week Ahead
Ideally, the coming week is going to see me doing a lot of reading and crafting. I have three days off of work instead of two, and I feel better than I have for the last two weeks. I’ll have to take advantage of that while the mood lasts.
Of course, this sets my writing goal for the month by the wayside. I’m frustrated that I still haven’t done very much writing this year, and it’s already halfway through February, but so be it.
I also plan to buy a new sewing machine at the end of next week! It’s a bright spot to close things out next Saturday. Plus, I’m excited to give it a name. It’s a red machine, the same red as my walls, so it needs a good, solid, very red name.
I hope your week has been kinder to you than mine! And, of course, that the week ahead is filled with wonderful surprises. I’ll see you all next week! ❤️
