It’s been a solid first week since coming off hiatus, but it’s going to be a short Weekly Wrap all the same. Why?
Well, it was busy!
Life Beyond the Blog
To tell the truth, the blog was essentially my life this week. Returning from hiatus has meant a lot more activity than I’ve had since June, especially since I had a burst of productivity early in the week and scheduled…oh, something like seven posts for the month? Plus I started on the drafts of a couple more posts, not that I’m complaining. It’s the first time in a long time I’ve felt the drive to do that, and I’m so relieved. Begone, burnout!
I also was frantically crafting this week, and I’ll be able to share a little more about that once the friend in question gets her gift. Don’t want to spoil it if she reads this before opening her package. 😉 I can say this much, though: it was a fun new embroidery piece with a pattern designed by AFERA on Etsy!
I do wish I’d done more reading (haven’t read a single page since the end of July 😩) but it’s okay. Most the month is still ahead, and thankfully, no more days bursting with appointments, grateful as I am to be able to go to the dentist or eye doctor and get an all clear.
(I did, though, buy new glasses this week. They needed the update, since my prescription has changed, and I’m SO EXCITED for them to come in the mail!)
Posts This Week
The Week Ahead
Hopefully, we’re looking at a less busy week. Or, maybe a week busy by my design, not someone else’s. I’ve got my fingers crossed for time to read and stitch, and that my schedule aligns with my dad’s so we can make more progress on my desk. In the meantime, I’m also going to make a mini DIY ironing board. Having to go up and down two flights of stairs when I want to iron something is really frustrating. I’d much rather carry the iron up two flights and then back down when I’m finished. No more multiple trips!
Other than that, though, there’s not really a formal plan. Despite my love of keeping my life in a tidy agenda, the freedom is nice. And so is the weather, which means MAYBE I’ll even read outside. If my allergies don’t strike me down first, of course. Wouldn’t that be something? 💛
I hope you’re all having a good week, and I’ll see you around!
