Top 5 Tuesday || Series I Haven’t Finished

Piggybacking off of two hours ago, we’re sticking to series!

And we’re returning to the part where I reveal how much of my TBR remains unread! In this case, we’re looking at series I haven’t finished. It must be Meeghan @ Meeghan Reads reminding me of all the books waiting on my shelf, judging me hardcore for still not picking me up.

Maybe a little shame is what it takes to see these series through to the end?

The King of Crows by Libba Bray (The Diviners #4)

Folks, I even pre-ordered this book and I still haven’t read it. I’ve spent literal months bracing myself for the end of this series, and I feel like I’m never going to be ready! At this point, I need to just bite the bullet and do it, except now I also have to reread everything beforehand so I don’t forget any of the important bits. What have I done to myself? 😩

Whisper of the Tide by Sarah Tolcser (Song of the Current #2)

Song of the Current Cover

I read Song of the Current waaaaaaayyyy back when, and actually had a blast with it. Marine adventures with enemies to lovers and secret royalty? Sign me up!

And yet I still haven’t touched the sequel. Forgive me, Caro, I promise I’ll finish your story soon! I really want to! 💜

The Shades of Magic Graphic Novels by V.E. Schwab

Night of Knives Cover

I got my copy of The Steel Prince when I went to V.E. Schwab’s Columbus signing in March 2019, but somehow, I fell down on the job and didn’t get the rest of the series! And since it’s a graphic novel series, I feel like I have little to no excuse for putting this one off. Out of all the series I haven’t finished, it seems like this one will move to the top of the list the second I get my hands on Night of Knives and The Rebel Army.

Iron Heart by Nina Varela (Crier’s War #2)

Iron Heart Cover

Frankly, shame on me for not finishing this beautiful duology sooner! Crier’s War introduced one of the most stunning, complex enemies to lovers relationships I’ve ever read, then had the gall to make it sapphic. It was essentially my specific brand of catnip, and I devoured every page!

Yet I still haven’t read Iron Heart. Is it fear? Is it the desire to savor every moment, something impossible due to my current schedule? Who knows! But I need to get to it someday, I really do…

Skulduggery Pleasant series by Derek Landy

Skulduggery Pleasant Cover

You’ll notice I only put one cover here. That’s because it’s been ages since I last read a Skulduggery Pleasant book, and it’s because the series is absolutely stinking massive. But since I’m a glutton for punishment, and since our skeleton protagonist friend is unexpectedly charming, I want to return to this series, find a little joy in its odd, sometimes macabre adventures!

There you have it: I’ve completely exposed myself and all the series I haven’t finished. Okay, maybe not completely, since there’s a few more series that could make this list. 😬 But of the ones here, which do you think I should tackle first? Do we share any picks? Let’s chat!
