At least, it will be at this rate. 🤦 There hasn’t been a Wednesday Pen since May because of my hiatus, and I’m going to be recapping an entire three months’ of writing today. Buckle up, too, because apparently I had the bug during my hiatus.
And naturally, it was on every project except the one I set out to do.
Does not updating writing progress for three months count as writing?
The Wednesday Pen has been a little absent these last few months. See, it turns out trying to write in the middle of a global pandemic is a lot harder than they tell you, even though they definitely tell you. Still, we’re back for the first time since February, and…progress is progress?
Built to replace Writing Wednesday, the Wednesday Pen is a blend of new and the old and written word. I spend so much time talking about reading that I sometimes neglect writing, and this will (hopefully) serve as a counter to that habit!
This month, I’m only introducing you to the bare bones intent of the topic. What with the redesign and other factors, writing has not been my primary focus through January. In the months to come, though, I plan to push it closer to the forefront, which means more to share!
We’re at the end of the line. It’s December. NaNoWriMo 2019 is in the rearview mirror after a long, arduous climb. Cryptids have been murdered (sorry, guys), nervous queer nerds have almost kissed (they’re taking their time, it’s fine!), and the bees continue to be magic as all get out (which is super cool, trust me).
So, where is Honey and Haunt standing? And what’s next?
It’s that time of year again! NaNoWriMo is right around the corner, and my project has been sitting in the wings, waiting for the curtains to go up so it can shine. Somehow, it’s survived the bumpy planning stage and managed to keep all of my love fixed on it, and I’m going to take that as a good sign for the month ahead!
But let’s dig in, so you know just what I’m tackling this month. 😉
