So, this check-in wasn’t exactly what I was hoping to have to say, but there’s no sense in avoiding it.
Can someone explain to me why I thought it was a good idea to do this TWO MONTHS IN A ROW?
I’m not quitting, though. Not this girl. Not today.
Despite all odds, I did it. I survived. I have some ramblings of a draft that will one day be a story, plus a ton of other short projects under my belt. I have emerged from Camp victorious at last.
But man, what a ride it’s been!
One week left, which means it’s time for EMERGENCY FICTION MANEUVERS.
The halfway mark is behind me now, and somehow, that’s almost scarier than when I started, oh man.
The first week of NaNo is already over. I can’t believe it!
It’s a beautiful day in July, and OH MY GOD, WE’RE FOUR DAYS INTO CAMP NANO.
It’s here, it’s almost here! Camp NaNo is almost upon us!
Has the terror set in for you yet? It has for me.
Life is messy. Blogging is also messy, it turns out (I’ve never had this many drafts in my life tbh). A lot of things are just REALLY MESSY.
This includes writing, and with Camp NaNoWriMo here, what better topic than the messiness of drafting?
Or the neatness, if you’re a plotter rather than a pantser.
