Remember how I said in my Weekly Wrap from the 4th that I planned to read? I was feeling ambitious and felt like I had time?
Well, the monkey’s paw curled in, folks. It curled hard.

Better late than never? This Weekly Wrap was meant to go up a couple hours ago, but the truth is that I got some outstanding sleep, and that was more important. Can you blame me?
Anyhow, this wrap covers all the reasons the blog has been a little slower, and all the hopes I have for the week ahead!
I promise I have a good excuse this time. See, the reason you haven’t heard from me is that I’ve been on vacation! A little harder to write a Weekly Wrap when I’m soaking up some sun (read: hiding in an air-conditioned house and enjoying a proper break from The Big Everything™).

There is no life in this Weekly Wrap. There is only Stardew Valley.
Turns out that starting a new job, petting some dogs, and reading a book makes for a really pleasant Weekly Wrap! Who knew?
I’m beyond excited to tell you that today’s Weekly Wrap is absolutely packed with good news. And it has cat pictures to boot! Does it get any better than this? Probably not, tbh.
Astonishingly, I am alive to bring you a Weekly Wrap, instead of lying wraithlike on my couch, sneezing into fistfuls of Kleenex and praying for the chicken noodle soup gods to deliver me from my illness.
Yeah, it’s been a rough couple weeks since I last checked in for a wrap. How did you know?
